And... now it's the TV

In the past week my TV has spontaneously rebooted a couple of times. This morning I turned it on and while it was clearly on, there was no picture and no sound. PHUCK.

I love this TV. It's a TCL Roku TV. It's easy it's nice. Good size. I bought it in June 2018.

At the time I got this, I really wanted an Android TV and they didn't sell 'em here in the US so I got the Roku. Now I'm sold on Roku and don't want to change. Plus I don't want a different size. Looks like now, Roku TV's are not nearly as prolific nor are TCL's. And while I'm predisposed to buy from Amazon, it looks like Best Buy might be the best buy.

But, I'm not doing nuthin til this one is no longer watchable.

I feel like I'm living in Trader Joe's land. At Trader Joe's has mostly all store branded stuff - you can't buy it elsewhere. When you love one of their products, chances are good it will soon be discontinued. In my house, all the stuff I love is breaking! I don't even want to think about what's next.

I got both of mine at Walmart. Refurb. Better deal than either BB or Amazon.

yeah if/when i'll be sure and check there, too. fingers crossed that i won't have to even look. there were just so many perfect options 3 years ago :)

I have a Sony Bravia in the living room and a LG in the bedroom. As for streaming, I don't use the built-in stuff. I buy external boxes to connect to the TVs. The built in apps on the TVs aren't supported as long as they are on external boxes.

We have 3 TVs and 2 of them are TCL Roku’s and we are also hooked on them The other in the main living room is a Samsung it also is an excellent tv, but Roku is my favourite by far.🤗

I used to work in an electronic appliance store and a TV should last longer than 3 years.
I could make a big ass loooooooong list of Trader Joe foods I loved that they stopped making.
