Pizza for the record

I bought a whole pizza at Costco. I froze the slices. I tried this method and that to revive them into tasty slices. On the last two pieces, I hit it.

Two from the freezer into the microwave for 1 min.

Then into the air fryer at 350 for 9 mins.

Crispy on the bottom, pillowy on the top. Perfection.

Was one of your trials straight into the air fryer from frozen, and if so what was the result?

yep. the result was frozen center and burnt outside. that's when i went to the microwave as an interim step

I thought it might be something like that but I was curious to find out as the air fryer seems so mighty I couldn't envisage it not being able to nuke a frozen thing. To be honest I don't know why I'm even asking as I make my own pizza and like the idea of freezing the leftovers though I might there never are any.
