Ok, who didn't see this coming??????

Yep. I bought a new bed. I have no defense. No excuse. I did not mean to. But, I'm so excited!!

I got a TEMPUR-Ergo® Smart Base Adjustable Power Base. It's an adjustable base on steroids. And, I spent $250 extra for a 10 year maintenance contract. 10 years - anything goes wrong, I pick up the phone and give'm a call and they come fix it. And, at the end of the 10 years, whatever of the $250 I haven't used, I get in store credit.

It was just everything I wanted including Alexa support and integration with Google Fit plus silent and smooth and a lovely remote plus the app has a remote, too.

I knew if I didn't get it, I'd go to sleep every night wishing I had. I know I should have shopped around. But Ashley was so nice and sweet and not pushy at all and full of answers and very helpful and just perfect. I hope she is on commission and gets a big one for selling me my bed.

My mattress is fine so I didn't even consider a new one which helped in the shopping and decision making. Turns out my sleep number, with everything included is 2,203.88.

They will bring it to me on Monday.

I got poke for lunch.

So far... good day!

Yeah, I was going to say something about how the nicest and most helpful sales people I've run into are in mattress stores.

Thank you. I kind of feel like an idiot but yes, so much better and knowing it will work for 10 years is heaven. And it's not like I'm going on a cruise with that money anyway!

I'm thinking of ordering one of those for our place in Missouri, so I'll be curious to see what you think of it. I didn't realize that they weigh 700 pounds though.

Just a follow up now that I've had the bed for five days. i LOVE it! The data is amazing and fun and delights me every morning. The action of the bed is smooth and silent and excellent. The next level up from mine includes what they call a pillow tilt. It's not available on the double bed size. If it's available for your size, I'd get it. It's a nice little feature for reading or watching tv.

Fun! How remarkable that if you don't need any service from that maintenance plan, you get to use that money on something new later.

I know! I've never heard of that kind of deal before but I'm all over it. Ashley said 'new pillows!'... I said that in 10 years, she'd better be ready to sell me a new mattress :)

Hubby is pushing for a bed like that, but I’ve been resisting. I don’t want to give up my beautiful four poster bed.

But, wait! You don't have to get up your bed! The adjustable bed just sits inside the frame. I have a bed frame with headboard that I had back in non adjustable days. I just took the stays out and they dropped the adjustable bed right in. Easy peasy and nice looking.
