seattlejo and I had brunch this morning at the same place we had brunch in March of 2020. The menu was a little different but not drastically. The same smart assed waiter/bartender who has been there for years was there. The food was good. Once again, I got an extra order of their potatoes to go because I love them. But, most of all, it was so fun to sit with a friend and chat which I have not done in more than a year. Poor

I expected it to be weird but it really wasn't. It was nice and nearly normal. In any other time I would have been grateful that it wasn't so crowded. Every other table was full. I'm so glad to see they survived and still draw.

Then I went to Safeway and got a few things - just in time food plan is still in play and working!

Then on to the Dollar Store. Turns out, actually, flocked hangars cost about the same in the Dollar Store as they do from Amazon. But Werther's Sugar Free Chewy Carmels are way cheaper at the Dollar Store. I am now convinced that I got those cookies there but they have no more. I did order some from Amazon, tho so all's cool.

Biggie seems much more calm and better today than the past few days. He's actually outside snoozin' in his tree. And the vac is going. He's generally too stressed about it to snooze while it's working so maybe we've come to some sort of detente.

Yesterday I discovered the most delightful TV show. Katie & Koji. It's on Britbox and there are only 6 30 minute episodes which is just not fair. It's hilarious. Today's line up is mainly the baseball game at 1.
