Have you ever made a “bucket list”? What was on it that you have done and what haven’t you done?

I have not ever made a bucket list. That’s probably because I have really done all the things I ever really really wanted to do and, so, there’s nothing to put on it. I have been so very lucky all of my life, actually. I know you make some of your own luck, but not all of it. I’ve gotten to go places and see things and have wonderful experiences. Whatever else happens in my years left is honestly, truly gravy.

I think yours is just about the perfect answer.

I've thought that bucket lists were to be made when we finally wise up to the fact that we won't live forever and we ought to quit saying, "Someday," or "Next year," or "Not right now."

Those happy few who, like you, have gone places and seen and done enjoyable, memorable things, who have a fat mental scrapbook bulging with fabulous memories, have no need of bucket lists.

Your answer made me think. If you ask me about my bucket list, it's all about travel. Right now I could tell you the next three big major trips I want to take and a few minor ones. I started thinking about things I always wanted to do that aren't so grandiose, things that are cheaper, things that I can do that I have always wanted to do. But I think, "What am I not doing that I want to do?" Pandemic aside, I have a lot of stuff going on in my life. Things I want to do right at home are being done. I have a lot of hobbies. I have friends to hang out with and have adventures with. I don't need a list for the here and now and no reason to come up with something for the sake of saying it's for the "bucket list".
