This picture has been on my home page for several weeks and this week I got a couple more from the artist so I just added them to the website.

It makes me smile whenever I see it and it's my computer wallpaper at work so I smile a lot.
Joe is the son of Robert and Amanda Parker. I met all of them including their daughter, Jessica, when they came to Seattle a year ago. Robert is a British born Seahawks fan (makes no sense to me) and was a regular visitor to my website as they were constructing the stadium (I take a picture of the thing every day and post it. During construction, I had a rather large regular followins.)
Anyway in the Summer of 2001, Robert wrote me that he was bringing his family to Seattle for their first every trip to the U.S. and did I have any suggestions for things they must do. Of course I did and my first suggestion was to call me the minute they got here. They turned out to be great fun - all of them.
I'm not a big kid person. Never have been. But once in a while one of those little buggers just gets to me and Joe is one. He's so sweet and so cute and so so funny. He charmed me and my cats and everyone else from what I could see.
He was captivated by Ichiro who was making baseball history here that Summer so while the Parkers were here we dubbed the kid IchiJoe. I don't know much about art, but I think his drawings are amazing.
