What a day!

susandennisIt's 1:30 and so far this day has been pretty darned excellent.
My two problematic bedroom closets are now completely sorted with new hangers and room to breathe and room to spare. They look wonderful. And useful.
I ran the robot vacuum cleaner for the first time since remapping since the upgrade and it got all the nooks and crannies without so much as a tiny blip. It's recharging now so it can finish but the rest is easy. It was the living room that was the issue. WAS is the key word there.
The Mariners won the game handily and nicely. My 2nd and 3rd favorite announcers did the game and it was as pleasant to listen to as it was to watch.
I did not do the laundry. I got a new laundry hamper and it is huge. And it is now telling me that I have way too many clothes. But, even it's getting full. Laundry tomorrow. For sure.
But, the big big big win of the day, is of course, Biggie. I got the followup from the vet:
DISCHARGE NOTES:
Almond Joy's radiographs did not show evidence of a foreign body obstruction. We will contact you with the final radiology report in 1-2 days. Please keep us updated if he has any further vomiting or if he won’t eat.
[edit. Almond Joy is Biggie's real name. The Smalls was named Mars Bar. GREAT names but they both got nick names that just stuck. They both went to the vets and got patient records before the nicknames so he's Almond Joy to the vet's office and it never fails to deliver chuckles.)
He's been napping here in his cone next to me. When I was in the bedroom doing closet, he came in an napped there. Then moved back here to the living room when I did. I put a Wyze cam in the litter box so that the app will tell me when he uses it and I can know when to check for poop. I'm going to break out his kibble tree when he wakes up.
I packed up the carrier and put it away. Here's hoping that the next time I have to break it out will be in December when he's due for his next leukemia shot.

Renamed Jasper (The original name for the cat who became Tom, in Tom & Jerry) he now has the run of the garden and the horse race racecourse next door. He likes space..and mice .

Dave Niehaus was fantastic and irreplaceable. I don't mind any of the rest of them. Mike Blowers' voice is a little too nasally, but I like his commentary. Probably Aaron Goldsmith is my least favourite, though I don't dislike him in the least, I just like the others better.

My pipe-dream is that the Mariners will make a playoff run, and next year when Corey Seager becomes a free agent, the Mariners will channel their inner Joe Biden and spend a trillion to sign him. If he sees the Ms as a having a legitimate shot he just might sign to play on the same team as his bro. But what makes this scenario highly unlikely is that his agent is Scott Boros.
