Crochet Day

susandennisToday starts another Crochet Along. Every Friday you get instructions for the next bit. In the end, you have this:
In this case, I'm working from a kit. So the colors will be exactly the same as the picture. I might make it bigger but I'll decide that later.
Also today, USPS will be bringing me the first Crochet Box. The above kit was put together by Little Box of Crochet. They also put together the box for the blanket above. I was so impressed by their efforts that I signed up to get a mystery crochet box every other month. I've been looking for a box subscription for a while. I hope this one is fabulous.
It's a Seattle rain day. Seattle rain is a drop here and a drop there. More of a mist. Cloudy and cool. This kind of weather is one of the reasons I love Seattle. But, I'm likely going to enjoy it today only from the inside. I don't really have anywhere I need to go or want to go.
Robby is giving the whole house a vac just now. Usually Biggie is out here worried about it but this morning he's under the bed which is his new favorite chill spot. I got two zippered blanket holders for under the bed storage and he's carved out a little cat-man cave between them. And as I put the period on that sentence, he came out to check on Robby. Had a kibble and a drink of water and then went back. He's so funny.
Time to shower and get dressed and get hooking!
