(For my birthday, I asked for Ask Me Anything Questions. I got so many wonderful ones. I'm answering them in entries from here until I get to the end. If you think of something you want to ask, just leave a comment or a note. Deadline is totally not a thing.)

2) what’s your favorite healthy food?

Probably tomatoes. Good tomatoes. But, to be honest, I’d rather have a bad one than none.

3) what color trends are inspiring your projects this year?

I started to say that color is not my first inspiration... that I look for things that will challenge me - stitches to figure out - or things that are just fun to make. But, reality is that I'd be wrong. When I go through Ravery for ideas or Instagram, I'm drawn first to color. Always. I have enormous color appreciation but not the real knowledge needed to use it correctly. So I copy. If a wonderful project is done up in ugly colors, just reject it. If a stupid project is done up in beautiful colors, I embrace it. So... having said that....

My colors lately are, of course, bright ones - the limes, the tourquoises and purples and yellows but I just googled 2021 colors and I have to admit, I don’t really hate this group. Maybe I'm on trend!

Most people respond very emotionally to colors. Frankly, I don't follow trends at all, I just like what I like.
I love tomatoes. I have some heirloom ones in my fridge right now.

Lime is great, I’m with you there! I’ll love bright teal forever though whether it’s trendy or not.

For me, there are few things better than a really good, really fresh cherry tomato (although a really good peach probably would beat it out). But there are few things worse than a bad tomato.
