I thought I had a terrible night's sleep. In the middle of the night Biggie bit me. Not hard but enough to break the skin. And other sleep troubles BUT my bed and my watch tell a different story. They both think I slept great so whatever. Neither one of them reports a cat bite, btw.

I buy yarn from England. It's a cheap yarn that holds up well, feels soft, comes in more than 100 colors and I cannot get it over here. There's an online yarn shop that is very efficient, carries all the colors and ships astonishingly quickly. Even with the shipping charges, it's still relatively inexpensive. BUT, foreign transaction fees. They aren't much. Never more than $3 but for no good reason, it drives me nuts. So this morning I did some research. I discovered that I do have a credit card that charges no foreign transaction fees. I don't use it much because it's Capital One and their online 'security' is a royal PIA. But, hey, to save $3?

This is house cleaner week. She comes on Wednesday. Which means I need to remember to run the vacuum on Tuesday but otherwise all is good and I've got errands lined up to keep me out of the house and occupied. My new pet door arrives Wednesday and I'll be able to either prove my theory works or understand that I need to go back to square one for venting the A/C.

I'm trying to get out once ever day. Today I think I'll pop over to Ezell's for some fried chicken and okra for lunch and dinner. Oh and a stop in Walgreens for aspirin. And otherwise, crochet and TV. It's cool and cloudy and lovely here today.

Do you mean Stylecraft yarn? I myself buy from Wool Warehouse in the UK, although not so much since the arthritis is putting a real damper on my crochet, but Stylecraft gives such a great selection in colours and, as you say, the price is right!

You nailed that in one! It is, indeed, Stylecraft (Special DK) and from Wool Warehouse. Not only is the price right but their service is outstanding. I feel like I get the 'your order is packed and shipped' before the enter button cools off. So sorry about your hands. My dad had arthritis in his hands and it was horrible. So far he has not passed it on to me and I am very grateful.
