Are there hobbies or other things that were very important to you when you were younger that you lost interest in when you got older? Are there things you got into when you got older that you never thought you'd be interested in when you were younger?



I can’t really think of anything I was really into when I was younger that is not still an interest. I honestly didn’t have time for much hobby-ness when I was younger. My work was really my hobby. I loved it and worked long hours with great people. It was fun. But, it did not leave much time for much else.

I never thought I’d ever take up crochet. I have knitted continuously since I was six and sewed my own clothes since I was about 10 (but not continuously) but I did not learn crochet until a few years ago and did not really take it up with vigor until a couple of years ago. Now I'm addicted.

Do you prefer crochet over knitting? Is there anything you want to crochet that you haven't gotten around to yet? I love seeing your projects.

I actually enjoy both and often have one of each project going at any one time but these days, I really lean towards crochet. I don't know what I'm going to do next. I really do do it to have something, it's way more of love of process for me. So, no, I don't have anything I want to crochet per se. Thank you!

I bought some yarn and a crochet hook and am going to try and get back into it. Chronic headaches and muscle pain stopped me before so I'll have to take it easy. I do not have even a tenth of your talent but I do love the creativity of it.
