susandennisI have packages arriving today via USPS (yes, on Sunday. I know, weird.) and Amazon. And I need to box up a trade in to Amazon. I have an old Echo that they will give me $60 for plus 25% off any new echo-y device. I never use it and it's too big and bulky. I never will so I'll take the money, thanks. But first, I've got to find a box. Worst case, I'll go dumpster diving into the recycling down in the garage. We've got about 8 dumpsters of Amazon boxes down there.
Biggie was up here around the keyboard a bit ago looking for a head scratch or something. I knew that this was going to end up on a bite eventually. So I distracted him with some laser and then encouraged him to go play in his room and off he went. Bite averted. That time.
I decided to abandon my latest Crochet Along blanket. Last week, some of it was not fun and the results were not great. This week was basically 2 squares 4 times each. I did one of each and was not happy with either so screw it. Life is too short. I can easily use the yarn in something more satisfying. No regrets.
Today's baseball game is at 11:30 and then that's it for early games for a few weeks. They will all be played on the west coast so on west coast times. Not my fav but whaddya gonna do.
I think I'll have one of those gynormous meatballs for lunch today with the pasta and red sauce. I might just top it with cheese and bake it. A garlic bagel and yum! My salad stash is very low but I think I can put together something.
I have a mobility scooter. I bought it several years ago when I found a great deal - a storage lot buyer got one in a lot auction and was selling it. It was when I was having major lung issues and getting around was tough. It's not a high powered one but it does get around. And it fits in my closet. I use it to get to and from baseball games but really not much else. And, so, it's been resting now for a year and a half. I think I need to charge it up and take it out for a spin to 1. make sure it still works and 2. show it some love before it gets too hot out. Maybe I'll take it up to Uwajimaya tomorrow for some salad stuff. Or over to Krispy Kreme...
Time now to get my butt in gear and get dressed and get my chores done before the game.
