Robby is sucking up the dirt in the bedroom and sewing room. Biggie is in the living room at the door with one eye on a couple of big black birds in the tree and one eye on Robby. He's going to ask for double pay, I'm afraid.

I've got exactly zero on the agenda today. Nothing needs to be done, nothing has to be done. No one expects me to do anything. It's a day with no end to the possibilities.

I just got an email explaining why we need to recall Governor Newsome. Er ah, not my circus, not my monkey, but thanks for dropping in. Maybe there's a new susandennis in California.

I might do a load of laundry - the kitchen linens need it. I might take the trash and garbage to the dumpsters. Biggie's new fun thing is to tip over the recycle bin. He'll just walk right by, whip out a paw and tip it over and keep walking. Nobigthing. Seriously. That cat.

I'm a little more than halfway through Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary. I'm at that point where I'm dying to know what happens and don't want to listen to more because I don't want it to ever end. It's every bit as good as the Martian and way way better than Artemis (his second book). I'm not even a sci fi OR space lover.

Ok. That's really all I got now. Robby has finished in the bedroom so I think I'll go get a shower and get dressed.

I'm always getting e mailed ads for McDonald's in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish and I hate McDonald's.

Oo! I'm going to move Project Hail Mary off my TBR pile and onto my reader. I was worried after the second one wasn't as good but the premise of Hail Mary sounds really grippy.

One time, some years ago, I got a call from a very cheerful man asking for donations to the DuPage County Firefighters. I said "I don't live in DuPage County." He cheerfully said "Sure you do!"

I had the wits to say "Are you calling me stupid, or a liar?" He hung up.

Last fall someone called saying she was conducting a survey. After a few questions she said something like "Would you be willing to vote for Democrat Woman if I were to tell you she is a Nazi sympathizer?"
