This is a way bigger job than I though it would be.

My problem is Things To Put Things In - here is a partial pile of them that I pulled out of the closet this morning.



This is a variant of the bag hoarding virus I also have but am getting way better about.

I am throwing out shit left and right.

The last time I wore contact lens was about 2012. I just tossed out a packet of them.

But, the winner is... I threw out all my makeup. I should have sent it to the Smithsonian. The last time I wore make up was literally in the last century.

Around the time I graduated high school (early-mid 90s), I was over my friend's house, His mom's garage was full of junk, including a bunch of rolled-up newspapers.

I picked up one that said "Kennedy Assasin..." as the headline. I couldn't read the rest because it was rolled up. But I did get to ask my friend when was the last time he cleaned his garage.

(Turns out that the headline was something like "Kennedy Assasination Probe Reopened" or something like that, and the paper was only about a year old. But I got a good laugh out of it.)

I recently threw out a ton of makeup and while tossing it I declared that I would never again buy the really expensive stuff and that I would not need every color of everything ever again.

The feeling of having wasted so much cash was hard to take.
