It's supposed to rain all day and, in fact, my phone says it's raining right now. Biggie's sunbath says otherwise. While the morning sun is still strong, the breeze coming in is a nice 50 (10) degrees. There are already clouds coming and going so I suspect the weather prognosticator is not really liar liar pants on fire.

Today's outing will be to the ATM. I need cash for the house cleaner and I want to test out my checking account's 'all ATM fees reimbursed'. Testing testing.

Also on the agenda is a new tv remote holder for the treadmill. I've got ideas on how to make what I want to make. And the sewing room needs some attention anyway. Some overflow from the organization project landed on the day bed in there and it needs to be sorted.

And that's about it for today's plans.

Google I/O starts today so there will be info flowing out about the future of my devices. Always exciting and also frustrating because future is not now. Oh well. At least it's better than Apple events which hold negative interest for me but from which news is written for weeks on end.

Some dude has been backing up a truck outside for what seems like an hour. It's one of those with the blast horns to warn you that it's backing up. One of the joys of living downtown. I think I'll go let the shower drown it out.

I was watching the cam and how sunny it was in Seattle while it is raining and/or threatening rain here. Reverso.

Somebody needs to invent the technology that will allow a "reverse" warning to be directed to anyone directly behind the reversing vehicle and within some (fairly small) distance, and inaudible to everyone else.

And then all vehicles currently equipped with the current noisemakers must be required to switch to the new tech.

And yeah, I know how likely this is.
