susandennisIf you are outside today, in the shade, it's quite pleasant. Particularly if you are in a spot where there is a little breeze. But if you are inside with only one opening to the outside and no cross breeze, it is fucking miserable. But, now, 24 hours after I fired up the a/c, it is lovely and cool in the house. And I am so grateful.
I've had the blinds down all day and just pulled them up for a bit since the sun won't be back here for an hour or so. Turns out, Biggie is in his tree! Snoozing away! In the heat. That cat just cracks me up. He's usually napping in his spot under the bed this time of day. I assumed that's where he was.
I was making a list for shopping at Safeway tomorrow after my swim and decided to check and see if Amazon Fresh had what I wanted and would deliver it for free. And, yep! They did. Their selections of stuff has gotten way better over the past 12 months as have their delivery options. They are bringing it all today at 4. Nice.
I spent a lot of today watching Google Maps - to and from the gym - checking on traffic. It looks like until about now - 3 ish. Getting from here to there is easy peasy. The traffic just now has started to bog down. Getting home, is as you would expect, the opposite. It was miserable right up until almost 11. So it looks like 10 is going to be my best option to start my swim and not get caught in a jam coming home.
When I had my shower installed, I had them put in a tension rod for the curtain and I bought a spare to hang my suits on. Except I haven't really been swimming regularly since then. Today I dug out that spare and installed it. I was glad I had it and gladder that I knew where I had stashed it.
