I did not have my air conditioner set to max last night and I thought my sleep was fairly miserable because I was hot. But, my sleep tracking begs to differ so what do I know. Well, I know I'm going to set the air conditioner to max tonight, for sure.

Not having a way to get a cross breeze and having only one single door for access to air from outside, this joint heats up and stays hot. It does not even pay to open the door in the morning. It doesn't cool off a thing. Plus it lets the sun in.

In the winter, it's fab. I have one Dyson Hot/Cool fan that I rarely even use. It's always warm enough in here without any extra anything to heat it up. But Summer? Ugh. It does seem to get better, though, as the Summer goes on and the a/c stays on constantly. I just need to get to that point.

I apparently made enough or the right tweaks and fixes to my phone as it has mostly stopped trying to replicate a red hot poker. I'm guessing mostly it was the threat of replacement.

I'm out today. I'm going to scooter over to the next door neighborhood to Daiso and Uwajimaya. I have a short list of stuff I want. They are now allowing small, clear bags at the ballpark and I'm hoping Daiso has them. None of Amazon's offerings are reasonably priced with delivery soon enough for tomorrow's game. I could get in the car and get the hunt on but I could also use a zip lock bag if push comes to ... So I'll go look at Daiso and hope and get bread at Uwajimaya which is just across the street.

The final of the British Sewing Bee is today. I'm planning to watch it before the baseball game. I might do some laundry. I might not. We'll see.

Does the bed tell you the room temperature? Curious to know how low the temp goes with the aircon.

Ok that's hilarious ... except bread bags here aren't clear! They don't meet the stadium requirements. But, I got it noodled. Dasio had just the right thing for $1.50 so I'm solutioned as they say (I hope no one says that).

That was our last apartment - run the AC full blast all summer, crack the windows to let out all the extra heat from the neighbors all winter. :-p

The summer heat is exactly why I bought a ground-floor condo. I didn’t want to deal with all that heat.

This might be a day late and a dollar short, but if you're looking for a clear bag check out the makeup bags. My daughter and I went to a concert, and we found out only 4 hours before that we could only take in clear plastic bags.......so we stopped at Shopper's Drug Mart and found a makeup bag set that was clear plastic. Much easier than trying to find a purse or other bag that was clear plastic.
