Lumen Field, formerly Century Link Field formerly Qwest Field, formerly Seahawks Stadium (the damn place is barely 15 years old!) posted a photo on Instagram that is a great shot of my house and my'hood. You can't see me because of The Fucking Tree That I Hate... but I'm in that red square. It really is a beautiful neighborhood and a wonderful place to live.



I got the pajama pants deconstructed and now have way too many ideas of how to make the shirt. hmmmm I may give it a rest for this afternoon. The baseball game is at 1 and the TV has the announcer that makes me want to shot the TV so I'll have him on mute and the good guys on radio which means watching real time. Which is fine.

It turned out to be a lovely and cool day today with the threat of things to come. I went out to run errands and ran into people - those quick convos - 'you ready for the killer heat?' At least it does not appear as if anyone will be caught unaware.

I had no idea that the stadium name had been changed...again. I'm surprised it hasn't been renamed Amazon Stadium or something since Amazon is practically taking over everything around here!

Wow, you live in a great location, a short walk from Safeco T-Mobile and Lumen too. It's been forever since I've been to your town. Is the Elliott Bay Bookstore still in the same place (on First I think?)

Hey Patrick! Yes, the units above me were all built on the roof when they rehabbed this old building. I liked the view but did not like the layout so I bought on this floor instead. Their terraces are huge BUT are not covered so require constant cleaning and no relief from the sun. Also no privacy. I like mine better :)

What a gorgeous spot. I freely admit I am biased by that lovely water. I would be less thrilled about living by the stadium, but I’m not a major league sports fan.

The stadium thing is a blessing/curse. It's great when they have concerts at the football field :) Most of the time, the stadiums are silent neighbors. You learn to plan around team schedules.
