Another bird, another breadbag... He brought it into the same spot in the living room which I now refer to as the killing field. RIP little bird.

One thing that does occur. This morning is one of the first mornings in a long time that we've had full sun on the terrace. I'm pretty sure, the last time we had a kill, it was a full sun day and I'm also pretty sure we've not had one since the last full sun day.

Interesting. Maybe the sun makes the birds crazy or Biggie. Another data point to watch. Not sure what to do about it but data will be collected nonetheless.

also. geek victory.

After the phone debacle, I could no longer get my phone attached to my chromebook and it was bugging the shit out of me. So, just now, I did a power wash on the chromoebook. This is basically a factory reset. It's easy peasy and I'm back in operation in under 5 mins. I should do it more often. Anyway, issue totally fixed!

Biggie just came back in from outside and went over to the kiling fields to make sure his bird was not still there. I think he gave me the stink eye.

I am truly fascinated by how cats kill birds on balconies. When i was growing up, we had a cat, and it lived mostly in the garden. It killed birds, and sometimes mice, but it was sort of expected because there is a lot of space to find critters in small town back yards. On a balcony, though, you'd expect the bird to just fly away, or the cat to not bother trying to pounce because they risk falling off the edge. It seems like Biggie must be very fleet-footed, or the birds particularly sluggish.

You'd think by now the birds could smell that they were landing on a cat balcony.

Being me, I'm so curious about what kinds of birds he killed. I totally judge my cat by what kind of birds she kills.

Oh, Biggie. Interesting that it seems to be a full sun thing! Poor birdies though. And poor you having to clean it up!
