I sent an email cancelling any further anything with the cat behaviorist. I talked it over with Biggie when he got home from work and he agreed.

I found her on Yelp so that's where I left my review.

I suspect that Mieshelle is excellent if your cat issues revolve around litter box problems. Her forms and questions are centered there. My cat had no litter box problems so I did not fit her profile. Also there were great issues with communications, particularly with her staff. There is a whole lotta cut and paste in their emails/forms/and webpages that make it clear the high price I was paying did NOT include personal attention. I was a little disappointed in my conversation with Mieshelle. I learned some helpful stuff but mainly she kept giving me solutions to problems my cat does not have. I was greatly disappointed in the promised 'report'. And my cat was not interested in the toys I bought on her recommendation. A pricey lesson all around.

Baseball trades have been fast and furious today and the Mariners are in the mix which is kind of unusual. Normally, our chances at the playoffs have long gone by now, so we have no dog in the hunt. But this year... we got hounds. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

I went to the Amazon Fresh store. It's so pretty and so simple to shop. You beep the app as you go in, take what you want, and beep when you leave. And 5 minutes later, you get the receipt. It's pretty slick. You can even pick up and look at stuff and put it back and Amazon knows not to charge you for that.

But, their egg inventory was oddly sparse.

Also, you can skip the phone and just use your palm to check in and out. They had kiosks to set it up. BUT you had to have your credit card to do the set up. Now, why the hell would I bring a credit card to a store whose big fucking deal is check in/out with your phone?? Someone did not finishing workingshopping that little feature.

Then I went to Walmart and got eggs.

It's now only 79 (26) degrees, down from the 90 it was earlier. I have not mentioned in a while how much I love my air conditioner. I love you, A/C!!!

They’re opening an Amazon Fresh store a few towns over from me. It’ll be interesting to try.

Do Yelp reviews also feed into Google reviews?

Good luck with your team continuing to have a hound in the race. :)

I have a couple of friends and coworkers I can sometimes get super-fresh backyard eggs from, but when they run out and I can't instantly get more that way, I've been buying the 99-cents-a-dozen eggs from Byrne Dairy, a regional dairy producer and convenience store chain. The shells aren't brown, but I care much less about that than some consumers do. Their eggs have been super fresh and the yolks nice and yellow compared to most of the supermarket eggs around here, and at 99 cents, they're always cheaper than every other store. Walmart included, I think.
