I can now pee sitting down without excruciating pain! I know this is TMI but I don't care. I'm so excited about the achievement. I thought I was going to have to get one of [livejournal.com profile] amw's pee standing up gadgets.

The blue chair is the answer. Also ibuprofen and ice and moving. Now my living room is a furniture mess and Biggie is so confused.

But I can get up from the chair and walk across the room without yelping in pain. I'll take it.

It's 90 degrees out and the air quality in downtown Seattle is 'unhealthy for sensitive groups'.

Inside, it's way much better.

I stepped outside for about five minutes and decided that was all I needed of that, and went back inside. It's much better in here hiding behind the blinds away from that orangey sun.

Might be TMI, but it's great news to have for sharing even if it's TMI.

Glad you are feeling a bit better! I never appreciated being able to move around without pain when I was younger...

I've been sitting in a non-ergo approved business chair at home for 18 months. (I could have fetched my ergo approved chair from work, but the seat is so big I wasn't sure it would fit in my car.). About 4 months ago I went to a chiropractor for the first time evar.

I appreciate your experience and am glad you are feeling better.

I got a reference from my nutritionist.

He is very good. I learned a lot about what 'pain' is and how it feels not to be in pain. Pain was the lack of energy I had after walking...the numbness and fatigue.

A few adjustments and it was gone. I was taking the 'hill from hell' bent into it, and it was hurting me. He suggested taking the 'hill from hell' in a zigzag. So much better.

There are core strengthening exercises and hip exercises. It all helps...if you do them.
