I'm a hypocrite

There is no ice cream in this house. Anywhere. WTF? So tomorrow I'm going to have to go out. I heard an interesting report on the air quality here in Seattle. 1. If/when it is bad, that 'bad' is not something you can see, smell or taste - the tiny particles just go right to your lungs. and 2. The badest is in the mornings. I had never heard either of those two things before.

But, I don't have ice cream. Any at all.

So tomorrow morning, I'll go to the store. I'll slap on my N-95 and takes my chances.

Now, later on - say in a couple of days - when there's something that involves my going outside and I don't wanna? I will say it's because of the smoke. You just wait. I know it will happen.

This time last night I was in so much pain. More pain that I had ever felt in my life. Tonight, if I move a certain way, I can feel where the pain was but it's hardly painful at all now. I am so grateful for no pain. So grateful. That was a royal bitch. Whew.

The living room is all rearranged and I can no longer sit like I did. The chair is just not big enough.

Thank you for beating the Blue Jays. Or perhaps I should thank the Jays (especially their last two pitchers) for handing you the game.

Yay for pain reduction! I have discovered that if I lie on my left side (which is really my preferred side for sleeping) for too long my left hip gets really pissed off. Otherwise known as Getting Old.

My Mom was a dead sleeper. She'd sleep on her right side. She'd fall asleep that way and never move until she'd wake up in the morning. Until she died at 82. I don't understand how that worked one single bit.

What a great finish to the game last night! There must be an art to taking walks or something. Don't get me wrong, I'm a proud Canadian, but it always pissed me off when all those people from BC would flood T-Mobile park to come and cheer against the home team. The Jays aren't Canada's team, they're Toronto's team.

omg i love it!! my mild mannered Ken who sees the good everywhere and the bright side of every cloud, actually can get his dander up! that is so funny. it is weird to have the blue jays and no canadians in the stands.

but, i totally agree that last night's win was extra sweet. let's hope for the same tonight!
