So last night, I raised the end of my bed so that my feet were higher than my heart. I thought it would be a difficult position to get used to but it was easier than adjusting to head elevated. And my feet and ankles both showed their approval. They are back to normal - normal being left foot/ankle swollen a little or just fatter than right foot/ankle. The compression socks arrived - late. And way too small. Reordered.
This morning, as usual, I wrapped Biggie's pill in a pill pocket and put the result on the counter where he went at it, as usual EXCEPT today he at the pill pocket and left the pill! I tried a couple of more things and then finally went back to rolling it in American cheese. He gobbled it up. Whacko cat.
I want one single thing from Goodwill. Wonder if it's worth a trip over there. Steps. But still, worth it? Yeah. Wouldn't hurt to get out of the house.
There is no ballgame and I've got nothing on the calendar.
Oh. I did ask my CPA about how much to keep and was surprised by his answer. "The actual tax returns should be kept forever. I know, sounds excessive, but the actual returns are not that large, a lifetime's worth can usually fit in a box. All supporting documents, other than real estate purchases and sales you can toss after 4 years This is a general guideline."
So, I can actually toss more than half the stuff in my tax box! Now to find a one-time small amount shredder. Looks like, around here, a UPS shop is my best bet.

Date: 2021-08-16 09:30 pm (UTC)if you've never established a user name and pw on it I HIGHLY recommend doing it. Keeps the scammers away and gives you a place to see if you owe any money and a way to pay it securely online. Plus it give you status of your current return.
It can be a PIA to get it set up so be patient.

Date: 2021-08-16 09:36 pm (UTC)Once you get in, Click on Tax Records and then 'download transcripts' — your actual returns are the 'transcripts'.
Another tip. Re-logging on is also a bit of a deal so I have a calendar note that prompts me to do it about every 3 months — check on stuff and check on access.
