susandennisBiggie brought his feather pole toy over earlier and laid it at my feet and just sat there next to it until I noticed. Shades of Stickie!!
So I waved it around until he got bored and went outside. Then I left it on the couch. I just noticed that he's up there napping and keeping an eye out in case someone comes by and wants to wave it again. Multi-tasking. That's my Biggie!
(And, yes, he has two poles because he's just about frayed out the feathers on one so we have a backup that he does not love as much... yet.)
Amazon now says that my shelves will not be here today. Maybe tomorrow. Two can play at this game, Amazon. I placed a net new order that are promised by Saturday. So one way, or the other, I'll have shelves someday. (And just return the extras if I cannot cancel in time.)
Our governor laid down the law today. October 15. EVERY single school staff from teachers to private day care to crossing guards and bus drivers and coaches and janitors... Must be vaccinated or lose their job. A tough and fabulous declaration.
Oh and he also mandated masks indoors for everyone vaccinated or not starting Monday.
I'm not unhappy with our governor today.

Date: 2021-08-19 07:40 am (UTC)We had restrictions in place but no one to enforce it — no bus driver is going to argue with every maskless idiot and over half walked onto bus with a mask and pulled it down as soon as they take their seat. The driver has no power to force a change or force them off the bus.
