Done for the day

susandennisI went out and did my errands. Apparently Whole Foods carries fresh squeezed orange juice but didn't have any today. Good intel, tho. We have two other nearby Whole Foods so I'll keep looking.
When I got back home, I did this and did that and put stuff away and picked up stuff and then realized I had not seen Biggie. Hmmm Not under bed. Not in closet. Ahhh, in sewing room on the bed giving me the stink eye for disturbing him. He's been there all afternoon.

nanila asked the other day if he had mellowed and since then I have been really enjoying his mellow-ness. I cannot image a year ago or even six months ago, his letting me make and decorate cookies by myself! Or pee or change the sheets on the bed or do any number of things without his help. Now, he trusts me to do a whole bunch of stuff without him and it's heaven. I can also leave stuff out and he ignores it. I can leave butter out to soften! It's lovely really.
Today I made giant sausage cheese balls. I had sausage, I had cheese, I had Bisquick I wanted to use up. I had some for lunch and the rest are in the fridge. They are not fabulous but they are the best that I've had in a long time (because I have not had any in forever).
Then I baked cookies. My new cookie sheets are wonderful. I also whipped up some box buttercream frosting mix I've had forever. It was easy enough and it tastes fine. I wonder how it will set. I keep trying to get purple icing and keep getting pink or in this case violet. I think I'll start trying another color.
And I made far less mess today. Much easier clean up for sure. Now I think I'll watch the new Vera episode until the ballgame starts.
