Name that tune!

susandennisI had to rip out about an inch of my knitted blanket this afternoon and then get it back on the needles with the stitch markers in the right places. Teeee Deeee Us.
I had been watching TV but turned it off and had my hands busy so I asked Amazon to play some music.
I'm not a big music fan. I rarely have it playing in the house or in the car. I don't know what made me think to turn it on today but I told Alexa to play music from the 50's. I wanted to see if I knew the tunes.
OH yeah baby. Every single one. And all the words. I used Amazon's Music service because when you are playing old crap what does it matter. Well, their music from the 50's comes complete with record scratches!! Cracked me up.
And whew, those songs do not age well. Although I knew all the words to How Much Is That Doggie In The Window, I'd never really listened before. A lot of non-canine pet shaming and don't even get me started on Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.
Also, yet another Biggie milestone... Before his flight off the terrace, he never left anything alone. If it was in his eyesight, OR if I was messing with it, it was his. Since he's been home from surgery, however, he's really not cared what I was doing or what was around. But, today there was the whole mashed potato eating and then, he kept trying to get my stitch holders. Had he had working paws, I would have had big problems.
I looked down to see our socks matched!!
And finally, there used to be this silly show about a group of con artists, called Leverage. It was on one of the non-major-network cable channels and it was cute. Well, they did a remake Leverage-Redemption and have it on IMDb-TV which I hate because they have ads and there's no way to buy your way out of it. But, it is free. So today I fired up IMDb-TV and watched it and not only are the ads ok - I just hit mute - but the show is as delightful as the original. Fun.
