Biggie's Day at the Vet/Spa

susandennisWhen my parents moved out of their lives into a retirement community, my father insisted on referring to it as The Club and my mom called it The Home.
Attitude.
So we will be referring to Biggie's vet days as his Spa days. He is not unhappy to be home.
And he lost his big old heavy hard casts. He now just has bandages - lots of them but at least it's better than walking on what must have felt like baseball bats.
In two weeks, she says, she wants to see if he can do without any.
He has one paw where the bones are all broken and that one is healing very nicely (she took x-rays today). The other paw has bunged up toes. The smaller outer one will never work again. But, apparently, he really doesn't need it. If it gets in the way, we will amputate.
He's finished his chicken and rice and is lying on the floor staring at me from across the room.
Oh and he has leopard print bandages this week!
