And another one bites the dust

Biggie was having a ball on his cat tree this afternoon. He was getting a little rowdy with the feather I hung from it and it was wobbling which worried me a little.

But then it took one, final, wobble and bam. He's dead, Jim.



He was sad but climbed into my lap and we set up a return (whew) to Amazon and ordered a new one. This time more sturdy than cute. Sigh.

In other news, my freezer fridge project hit a milestone today. I saw the bottom of one of my fridge drawers! And have an empty shelf in the freezer. Good work, me! I made a pizza for lunch from stuff in the fridge and the freezer - finished off the cheese, the mushrooms and the pepperoni. Tidy.

I had a good Home Depot walk this morning. I did more aisles. HD is growing on me as a place to walk. Interesting stuff and people.

As soon as Biggie finishes his lap nap, I'll head down to the dumpsters to find a box for the cat tree return. UPS is going to pick it up on Monday. Along with the oven.

Looks like they use crappy particleboard instead of real plywood to build those things. Low quality materials don't hold up well.

That's the problem with buying stuff on Amazon, you can't be assured of the quality of anything you buy on there.
