I heard nothing from the text and finally called at 7. A very nice guy answered and checked on him and he hasn't even had surgery yet. The guy said he was "resting comfortably". As soon as the current surgery is finished, it will be his turn. Poor guy. Having to be in there for so long.

Clearly, my stress of having to go there tonight is for naught. Hopefully, I can go pick him up tomorrow morning.

Now I wait for the doctor to call after he's all fixed.

I thought it was my turn to have the crazy vet bills again after Biggie's superman antics! Oh man oh man. I hope for his comfort and your peace of mind the call has come explaining that Mr. Needs a Job has had his procedure and is improving and did not require a zipper installation. Have the want ads awaiting him on his return home for him to find a gig once he's recovered — one with great health insurance.

Edit: I *just* saw in an earlier post that surgery is unavoidable. Damn it all :( I hope it goes smoothly then.

Oh no, poor Biggie, but I'm so glad you were able to get him in today. I'm thinking encouraging thoughts for his procedure.
