surgery stalled

In the middle of the night, I talked to the surgeon who said he was holding off on Biggie's surgery and waiting for a more experienced surgeon to handle it today if needed. He looking at Biggie's previous record led him to the decision. He said that Biggie was alert and not uncomfortable and he was confident that waiting would not make the problem worse and he kind of implied that Biggie could maybe shit the object out.

He said I should hear from the Saturday staff by 8 or 9. (It's 7:30).

If I don't hear by 10, I'll call.
