Trying to stay distracted

All the laundry is done and put away. Home Depot was a lovely walk. The bagel place took down their online ordering again and the line was out the door so we skipped that. But, instead, went to Uwajimaya and got tangerines.

I decided that without Biggie to help, steaming my crochet squares would be a good project. So I pinned down the first four and took a picture and then went to grab it from Flickr and found this one I'd forgotten about.



Those ears back and that face. This was still early yesterday morning before the emergency vet hospital.

It's 3 and I've heard nothing. I'm going to try and hold off calling til 5. But I might not make it past 4. The woman I talked to last time said "remember, no news is good news" so that's what I'm clinging to now.

Here are the first four squares drying after being steamed and shaped. I have one more done and another one half way done. They will get steamed next.

I love the vivid colors in those squares! That will be a gorgeous blanket.

Biggie does not look happy in that picture.
He just doesn't understand that you are doing this because you love him.
