One hour went by. Two hours went by. Two and a half hours and I couldn't stand it any more. I called.

Turns out the doctor left a voice mail that the cloud clearly swallowed cause I sure don't have it!

But the liaison lady said the surgery went fine. Biggie did great. They need to watch him tonight and then he needs to eat for them tomorrow and then he can come home. She said tomorrow afternoon. BUT she said I could call tomorrow like 7 or 8 am and talk to the Sunday liaison lady - Lexie - and see where we stand.

WHEW. Halleluyah! OMG I cannot believe my freakin' phone at the voicemail. I gave her my two other backup phone numbers. So, hopefully, next time they can reach me. BUT hopefully, they will never need to again. I'll call tomorrow and they'll say 'you can come about 3' and I'll be there at 1 and he'll come home and never eat anything but food ever ever again.

WHEW. OMG. I am so relieved I cannot stand it. I will have no trouble sleeping tonight. I am exhausted.

I have been "refreshing" my friend's feed waiting for this post. I'm relieved along with you. Biggie is such a sweet kitty. I wish he wasn't so into Medical Adventures, though.

So happy the surgery is done and he's resting well! Me and my husband were chatting about him and his many (mis)adventures and he's one in a million.
