We got the same tech this morning that wrote me that wonderful 'don't worry' email after the other vet messed with my head. Sarah. She loves Biggie. And told him she never wants to see him again.

They were very busy but we were in and out in 30 minutes. Whew. I feel so sorry for pet owners who are staring at a sick animal and a long holiday weekend of no vet except the emergency ones.

Sarah told me to leave the cone on him for another 24 hours but I opted for the onesie instead. He's kind of used to it.

I found a new series last night. On Amazon Prime. Astrid. I don't have a lot of patience with foreign language stuff. Except maybe British. :). It's hard to crochet and read the subtitles. But, I have a knitting project going now and I can knit blind. I used to be able to read French but I was never good at listening to it and my mouth was not built for those vowels. But, for some reason, I can understand a good half of this dialogue. Heck, I can understand, without reading, every bit as much of Astrid as I can of Line of Duty! And it's really a fascinating series. A nice number of 90 minute episodes.

Also if you have Prime, there are a lot of channels for sale for the next week. 2 months for $1 a month. I sign up for these and then mark the calendar to unsubscribe in 32 days. The subscription runs for the two full months.

Today's agenda includes beef stroganoff - well kinda. It's a one pot ground beef strog that I saw on Cook's Country. I got the goods at the grocery yesterday and I plan to put it together today - for eating today and, hopefully, a few more days.

We have actual snow predicted for my neighborhood for the next few days.
Whether we'll actually see any is doubtful but the forecasters get so orgasmic about these things that it's fun to watch on TV and on Twitter.

I really enjoyed Astrid. Lucky you! Understanding French. I think my favorite genre for TV is this combination: Britsh, Female Detective, Metal abnormalities, & Broken relationships.
:)

Seattle drivers in the snow are like California drivers in the rain. Be careful out there.

That onsie really is cute on him. Yes, maybe for winter he needs those ;-)

Snow, wow! Yes, these weather people get SO worked up, it is funny!

Do you put the sour cream in the beef stroganoff?

[livejournal.com profile] adafrog — Isn't that what makes it stroganoff? 🙂

Absolutely. But I know some weirdos that don't like it.
