susandennisYesterday Biggie was really out of control. He spent the entire day getting into trouble. Last night when we got into bed to listen to my book, he even got bitey. He crawled up into my lap to snuggle an then tried to bite me, multiple times. He didn't try hard and didn't break the skin but clearly he was having a time. He was just nuts.
I realized when I went to turn off his heating pad for the night, that I'd actually forgotten to turn it on. He spent less than 5 mins in that chair yesterday.
This morning, I turned it on and he's been in there napping for an hour. Now he's bird watching but not hoping all over while watching, just calmly sitting there keeping an eye out. And after five mins of that and then finishing off his breakfast, he's now back on the heating pad napping.
Warm heating pad = tranquilized Biggie? Wouldn't that be an elegant solution?
My financial tracking for 2022 is all set up. This year, I'm going to be closely tracking my Amazon spending. I'm not going to try and curb it really, but just make sure I have a clear idea of exactly how much I'm spending on what. I get 5% cash back on all my Amazon spending by using their Chase credit card. I got WAY too much cash back last year.
The temps are climbing. It's 31 on my terrace thermometer. I think I'm going to brave Goodwill today. They open at 10. The streets look pretty dry. If I stay masked and keep moving, maybe it will be safe-ish? But, really I need the steps. So I'm going.
And, while I'm out, I might just go pick up some Ezell's fried chicken ... I can order ahead and so just pop in and pick up. That should be safe enough.
I think it's a plan. I think I'll go get showered and dressed and ready.
