Biggie got up about 2 am ready to rock and roll. He found toys all over the house and brought them to my pillow. He ran from one end on the house, up onto the bed and me and then on to the other end of the house. Lather, rinse, repeat. He got under the bed and made all kinds of noise. Turns out, he also unplugged the sleep sensor of the mattress - my app informed me this morning.

Every time I'd get close to sleep, he'd start up again. He's nearly 3 years old which is supposed to equate to 28 in human years. Gen Z.

And, of course, this morning after having eaten a breakfast and a half, he's now passed out. It's 8 am.

Edit... I'm not sure he did the unplugging. Seems like the connection is broken more towards the internet side. That will take some troubleshooting. If I care. My Fitbit tracks my sleep totally adequately and with a little more info so I might just deep six the bed tracker.

Had another breakfast casserole this morning and cooked it long enough and wow. Was it a beauty. And it tasted just as good. Note to self, maybe next time make each one a bit smaller.

And speaking of food. I was thinking that today I might have to venture out for some take out BUT I was saved. Last night one of the locals I follow on Instagram posted about a new app for delivery of Asian food! Just what I've been looking for. It's a weird app maybe (probably) built for iphones that does not quite work as well on Android but I waded through. One neat trick is that it bundles some restaurants. So you can order one dish from one place and another from another. It's like a food court on your phone! Anway. I ordered a boatload of food for delivery today at noon. I had a coupon. 3 different dishes. Probably enough for 8 or 9 meals. I sure hope it's delicious!

And. No need to leave the safety of my house.

[livejournal.com profile] kaishinmystik reminded me last evening to check my snow mounds. It was almost dark when I did but this morning, I have a much clearer view. The big one is still pretty darned bit maybe 3 or 4 SUVs. The little one is also still bigger than I thought last night. Today is it next to cars and way taller than all of them. These suckers may be around until July!

Today's plans - besides the Asian feast - are minimal once again. I might do some laundry. I'll probably do some tidying.

I watched the first three episodes of the British version of Ghosts. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I hadn't seen the American version. It's so very similar that the few differences are stark. I think having both makes both better.

I also watched the movie The Proposal. It was mindless and fluffy and enjoyable-ish. I had a coupon.

I started reading The Left Handed Twin by Thomas Perry. It's another in the Jane Whitfield series. I think the series is spent but we're squeezing out one last one. It's ok. I love his books and he'd have to go way off the rail to make me abandon (which he actually did once).

At the suggestion of my brother ([livejournal.com profile] bill_schubert) I had my Kindle loaded and ready to fine at my bedside. So last night while Biggie was making sleep impossible, I picked it up. I've been reading one book on it forever and read some more - it's a great one for short reading spells with massive time in between.
