Two different Biggies
Jan. 14th, 2022 08:49 amNight before last, Biggie ran around creating havoc all night long. He pulled stuff off the shelves, he kept me awake, he didn't even stop until after lunch.
Last night, he curled up next to me as soon as I got into bed to listen to my book and he stayed next to me all night long. This morning, he's had his breakfast and a half and is quietly watching his birds. A completely different cat.
I leave these cryptic messages to myself on my calendar. In a couple of weeks, I have a note that says "Kill Prime Subscriptions". WTF? And just now I remembered it's talking about those I added with the $1 a month for 2 months deal but geez why can't I add more detail?? Google calendar is free no matter how many words I use to describe an event.
I keep thinking about things I want to do - go buy buttercream frosting from the grocery bakery, check Goodwill for a better yarn basket, get more sausage at the grocery store, and tangerines... I have about one of these thoughts every hour and then remember nope. Not necessary. Not worth it. I might do another order/pickup situation from Amazon Fresh this weekend. I really only need a couple of things and that seems the safest. The county numbers are down today for the first time in a while so maybe... At some point the numbers will come down and so will my patience with this self imposed isolation but we're not there yet.
So today will be more of me and Biggie in the house which is fine.
Yesterday I watched a few more episodes of And Just Like That (HBO) which I am enjoy WAY more than I thought I would. I also watched the latest episode of FBI (CBS).
I'm still reading The Left Handed Twin by Thomas Perry and still not really enjoying it that much but will absolutely stick with it to the end. Sigh.

Date: 2022-01-15 12:41 am (UTC)I'm really liking And Just Like That too! I thought it started off a bit creakily but as they've got back into it it's got better and better. Anthony in particular as a regular guest has been hilarious. I'm very happy it's been renewed.
