susandennis | superglue update

So one of the reasons that google says not to use toolbox superglue is that is it dries with rigidity. The back of an old lady's hand is probably the least rigid thing ever. So this morning, the whole superglue patch just popped off. But, it had done a good job of stablazizing the wound. I dug out some old Skin Shield.(and I do mean old, I remember when I bought it. I lived in California. I moved from there in 1991.)

The Skin Shield works much better. It is flexible and yet gives a nice, solid coating. It looks like crap but it's protected far better than any bandaid. But, I had forgotten that it smells like bananas.

Yesterday I went outside. Yeah, this should be the headline. I walked around the block. About halfway, I got a cramp in my foot. I stopped and waited and it went away until I tried to walk again. I pretty much limped home. This morning it's better but I can still feel a shadow of it when I walk. If it's not one thing, it's another. Oh well.

Biggie is having a zoomies morning. He's going to knock over something big here in a minute.

Now I have just killed an hour fucking around with that same webcam. The one I just replaced. I may yet send the replacement back. grrrrr

No plans for today. I thought maybe some cookie making but then I found a bag in the freezer. Nice. So, TV and crochet and maybe some house cleaning. Biggie's finally worn himself out. His chair is getting crowded. I think he's a hoarder at heart. But he hasn't yet put Stickie up there.

Watched: Law & Order SVU plus I started and abandoned a few things on Acorn and a few more on Amazon Prime. Sometimes it's hard to get a good latch.
