Yesterday's baking adventure was very successful.

1 box of Jiffy Pie Crust Mix, 1 jar of Kraft Old English* Cheese, 1 teasp of cold water. Mix together, roll out, cut, twist and bake - 425 for 12 mins.

*I tried cheese wiz last time and it was ok. A better alternative would be that pub cheese. The Old English cheese is rather hard to come by these days so I might give the pub cheese a try next time.

And for half of the batch, I added a little cayenne. If you like hot pepper go for it.

They turned out beautifully. Crisp and delicious. I froze most and left the rest out to nibble on.

Today I don't have any baking adventures in mind. Or really anything else. I did not hear back from the vet which was kind of weird but not cataclysmic.

My crampy foot is kind of giving me some concern on the treadmill. I cannot have that. I'm not sure what to do about it. I might try rotating shoes again. Sigh. As much as I hate treadmilling, I'd be kind of lost without it. I need my feet to work!

Still Reading (and enjoying) When You Are Mine by Michael Robotham

Yesterday I did a lot of Watching. I had saved and tried multiple episodes and decided to give up on: Grand Crew (NBC), Abbot Elementary (ABC), American Auto (NBC). Ditto Around the World in 80 Days (Masterpiece)

I watched an episode of the US Ghosts. Betsy Sodaro's arc as Nancy is at an end, more's the pity. She was perfect for the part and did a fabulous job. I hope I'm wrong and they bring her back from the basement.

My current cable package does not include the syfy channel so I had not seen any of Resident Alien. The Syfy app lets you watch a few episodes for free so I watched the pilot. And I'm looking forward to watching the rest. When baseball starts again and I have to get all the cable channels again, I'll have Syfy and will be able to stream the whole show for free. I will absolutely be doing that.

I don't remember doing it but I have Resident Alien on YTTV record so I've got the season and have not yet watched any of it. Funny.

We've read something else by Robotham but I just looked and all the titles sound like every other title I've ever seen so I don't remember what. Thought I had access to your GoodReads but apparently not.

She brought a unique energy to her character. I really enjoyed her. I have yet to see the British series it is based on.

Your breadsticks look so good! Seeing your pics make me want to bake.

I hope different shoes help with the foot problem.

Your breadsticks look so delicious and they seem easy to make. Now I’m going to try my hand at them.

Another fan of Resident Alien here! I found it funny through the whole season and very easy to follow for a supernatural-ish plot.

We've been sticking with Around the World, but it's not top-of-the-line "Masterpiece", that's for sure.
