I got all the stitches picked out of my next pocket victim and just decided I had had enough. These eyes need help. So I did some research and decided to go to an optometrist. I started with my insurance and got a list of in network possibles. And then went down the list. I wanted one close by with parking and online accounts.

Lenscrafters won on two of the counts. It's way up north of town. But, I figured as big a deal as they are, their online situation would be fine. I was so wrong. Their web team is into some heavy drugs, I suspect. You fill out all this shit but then you can't save because you haven't clicked the 'approval' box because, guess what? no matter what browser I use, there is NO approval box. That killed about 45 mins. Oh and their phone app. Joke du jour.

Back to Humana which was already pissing me off because their website just sucks donkey balls. We are more than 20 years into this century and people are still denying the internet?????

Plan be wasn't much better on the website stuff so I just broke down and called. February 15. Fine. Whatever.

Then I see that Amazon is raising it's Prime Membership. Again. $20 a year. TWO DAYS AFTER my due date. So I hop onto chat to tell them to just bill early. The guy I drew was not ready for prime time. So I called. The guy I drew there, at least finally got the tragedy and kicked it upstairs where I got a woman with a strong accent and a high pitched voice who took some time but finally got it, with my blessing, cancelled my membership as of today at the current price.

I first got an Amazon Prime membership in 2005 and it was $79. Now it is (or will be on the 18th) $139. And still one heck of a deal. Plus I saved $20. So yeah!

But now the meat of the day is history! Which reminds me, I need to go put away the meat. I tried the Mission Hill Burnt Ends from Costco - meh. But my Mom told me to always at least fridge or freeze leftovers before you toss them. ha!

Tearing out seams is the worst! And I have zero patience with websites that don't work, especially after being married to a computer geek for 25 years, lol.

I already didn't like Humana based on your many years of accounts. Now with many of my patients on Humana plans, I hate them more as a practitioner. Yuck.
