I went to a bakery
I got Biggie food

But, first, the weirdest thing ever. Biggie has his regular, favorite wet food in his bowl on the counter and I just saw him dig into it with his paw and then eat from his paw! WTF? Is he going to want a fork next? This cat is just nuts.



I took a detour to a very toney bakery and bought myself some goodies that I'll bet were baked by meowmensteen!!! I looked for you in the back but couldn't see you. But, I'm guessing the guy with the french accent was Pierre II... The guy with the undercut red hair and top knot waited on me. He was fun and friendly. Had it not been so busy, I might have asked him if Meowmensteen was working i n the back.

The quiche was delish! The pain au chocolate is up next. Biggie tried to get it so I stashed it into the microwave which he cannot... yet... open.



I filled up his food tree and was rewarded by his showing me immediately that he remembered how it worked.



I think we're going with wet and dry but with always available dry, I'm no longer a slave to the BIGGIE STARE!! I also got some freeze dried to try when we run out of wet.

The big snow pile gets blacker every day. But the little one is still hanging on.





Oh and I stopped at Whole Foods and got the good OJ. It is sure good. Damn.

But their tangerine selection sucked and their roma tomatoes all had rotten spots on them.

Holy Fuck! One of the susandennis's who use my email address just paid $400 for Norton Security! A one year license. I did not even know that was still a thing. But, I guess since she doesn't even know her correct email address she does need some security help. Geesh.

LOL at Biggie! And that he can't open the microwave yet . . . I was over at a friend's house several years ago. We had a group of friends that usually met monthly for lunch, and my friend told her teenage daughter to shut the cat in the bedroom. About half an hour later, we saw the cat. My friend yelled at her teenage daughter who insisted she had shut the cat in the room. Since we had finished eating, she let him stay out. And shortly thereafter, we all watched as the cat opened the door! She had those French door handles, that work like levers. The cat jumped up, grabbed the handle with his front paws, swung his body weight backwards, and pulled open the door. My friend apologized to her teenage daughter. ;)

today i had bags and some other stuff on the counter and Biggie was really messing in it all which he rarely does. he ate out of his bowl and then messed with the bags some more. then got down and then went back. it was the strangest thing.

until i got up and went to clear all the stuff away and discovered that in the bag was not one, but two little envelopes of cat treats that the pet food store girl had put into the bag.

Strange I just got some email spam that attempted to charge me some similar outrageous amount for some security software, it was really terrible(badly formated) so I just deleted it.

OMG I was there! That barista is the new guy. He's pretty good. I was even able to get him in the back to ice some cinnamon rolls for me today. He seemed eager to help, which is a nice thing. This morning Keiffer was the baker, so he baked your pastries, but I did make your quiche. So now we can officially say we were in the same space at the same time. Feel free to pester them about me even if it is busy. Oh yeah, the guy with the French accent was definitely New Pierre. Now you have a face to put with that name even though he looks exactly how you'd expect him to look.

One of the cats that lived here when I took up with jwg used to sometimes drink milk by sticking his paw in it and licking it. His mother¹ (whom I never met) apparently used to do this with coffee that was actually intended for a human.

One of our cats sticks his paw into a mug of water and licks his paw, when the water is just a bit too low for him to be able to lap it. Or maybe he would do the paw thing even if he could reach the water with his tongue. After all, he could more easily drink water out of his water bowl which is always kept full.
