His new perch arrived and he does not love it. Or maybe not yet. I moved his heating pad over to it. I don't hate it. It's kind of unabtrusive which is excellent. And it was very easy to put together.

And then, I was cleaning up the kitchen and putting stuff away and he was sitting on the edge of the counter trying to swipe at me and then trying to bite me and finally, he won. This time with his claw. I am running out of super glue.

I've gotten so jealous of Other People's Cats who let them hold them and pick them up and pet them and never rip holes in their skin. Sigh.

The federal government got my tax return. Sweet of them to let me know. I applied for a new EFTPS login. They accepted my application. 7-10 days they will snail mail me the secret code that will allow me to pay them money. They are just the nicest.

This has been a long day. Long.

I feel your pain

Ouch! I hear you one the "me no like bitey cats" front. I can pet Max, but I have to make sure he likes it, or he bites me. I can pet Ray Davies, and he likes it, but if I pet him a little too long, he gets excited and bites me. I have to play diplomat to these cats.

Oh, Biggie... you gotta stop that.

Ouch! My cat Zara can be all lovey one moment and turn into hell beast the next. It's like she forgets that she likes me. I hope that the cut heals well.

Ouch. Me two. Two cats who won't let me hold them, though Spook now jumps onto my thigh when I'm in the recliner, then walks across me to sit on the side table. And she sleeps in the bed, and only bites gently when I pet her back.

Oh no! That is a bad bite. Is his vision okay? Do they give cats eye exams? I just wonder if that could cause the biting. When I was little we had a cat that started biting us, it was going blind.

Having had my annual eye exam yesterday, I'm sitting here amused at the idea of showing a cat two different views of the same letters (or pictures of birds, or whatever) and asking which one is clearer.

Good God, that's a nasty wound! When you said claw I was expecting a delicate little line in the skin. Assuming this is because he's not going outside, I've been trying to think of HOA- appropriate ways to let him do that without killing himself. All I could come up with was suspending from hard to spot small hooks, top and bottom, a fine net like a vertical wall just inside the balcony so that he either can't jump onto the balcony or if he does is still within the net. No idea how feasible it would be, though.

Darn it, Biggie! He got you good, ouch.

I have to use the EFTPS website all the time for work, though a lot of it is done automatically through Quickbooks. Such a pain to set up but once it is, it's pretty easy.

Yikes! That's some damage there! I've forgotten, because he's been through so much, but does he have the phermone stuff in the house-- the diffusers, I mean? That stuff has helped with the same problem with Dobby. It's also helped to do vigorous play 2 times a day with him. (He commands me to throw his mice for him.) I sure hope Biggie changes his ways!

Oh Biggie...aren't you at least a bit grateful for all the money you have cost? Ah, cats....

You have the patience of Job. By now I would have put the fear of God in my cat, by any means necessary (and those means would not be approved by PETA). Sorry, I'm just pissed by the wounds Mr. Biggie is inflicting upon you. The audacity!

Heal fast!
