Turns out at least one problem Biggie has with the new perch is the fluffy pillows. I put some treats on the top layer and he finally climbed up and walked carefully around the edge to get them. I took the pillows out and tried the treats again and this time, he got all the way up and off the ledge. Ha. No biggie, I don't like those shaggy pillows either. As furniture, it looks better without them.

He's not sold, however. Which is weird. He normally 'owns' anything new in the house. I think he's just having a week. We've all been there.

Last night I started watching Somebody Somewhere on HBO. I need to learn that HBO does not drop whole series. CHECK before you commit! So I got 4 eps in and that's all there is for now. Sigh. It's a very odd show and just as oddly compelling.

The IRS sucked their money out of my bank account last night and this morning I went to check and see if they logged it as received. And their website is down. I broke it, apparently with my tax payment. Sorry.

Today I'm off to Home Depot. For steps. But, I do need some tiny nails with big heads (tacks?). And then I can pick up a sandwich from the bagel place for lunch. It's a plan.

I've been watching Somebody Somewhere and I love it. Apparently there's only 7 episode for the season but HBOmax did renew for season 2. I wish I had choir practice somewhere close....but then again, I'm not going anywhere with other people until covid is really gone.

Last time i really got hooked on an HBO show it was Boardwalk Empire. I wound up buying the whole show on DVD. (It looks really great on my new blu ray player too!)
