Ya know how you can go to the grocery store and spend a gazillion dollars and come home and have nothing to eat for dinner?

One nice thing about the Amazon Fresh store is that I rarely do that. I generally do, like today, spend $50 and come home with a half dozen or more dinner options. I'm not sure why exactly but I do. And it's great.

And they had eye drops.

And remember those $8 a pound tangerines from a few days ago? Well. They had the exact same ones for $3 a pound so I got bamboozled at the Japanese market. They are actually called Sumo Citrus and I remember their being tastier last year.

The one on the left is the $8 one.



Anyway, I have drops for my eyes, too many choices for lunch and Biggie hasn't bitten me in nearly 4 hours! Life is good.

That is just crazy expensive. I'm going to check next time I go here and see how much they would be, just to compare for fun.

I'm just eating Cuties this year. Some years they suck, but they're pretty good this year... for a Cutie.

I've seen those "Sumo" oranges at the local Whole Foods and been slightly curious about them (we buy oranges for juice only); haven't tried them. They're ugly, that's for sure, but that doesn't say anything about flavor or juiciness, so maybe we should experiment.

When they are good, they are wonderful. When they are meh, they are just expensive.

I’ve had those. They’re good, but not so good that I’m going to buy them at that price. I’ll stick with navels.
