susandennisThe water in the pool yesterday was not at all clear. It was way more on the green and murky side. So I left home this morning ready to swim but with expectations low. I got there early. The lights were on (not always the case) so I could see the pool from outside. A little greener and a little murkier. It may be safe but not at all fun and I'm really not sure about the safe part.
So I got on the bus and came home. And, of course, had second thoughts the whole way. People swim in lakes and ponds and rivers that are murky and brown. Why am I being such a prima dona?? So tomorrow I will swim regardless. Dying from bad pool water is ok as long as it's quick. I did get in good steps though.
It is astonishingly warmer today than earlier in the week. It was also cloudy and a little rainy. Sooooo much better for me than warm/hot with sun. Tomorrow promises to be even warmer. I need to remember to check before I get dressed. We're getting into potentially overdressing areas. I hate hot.
Also I finally remembered to look at my bus pass and make sure it was sufficiently funded. My pass is an old people's one and damn! These bus rides are only costing me a buck each way! Holy crap. It's going to be hard to justify ever driving this route again!
Yesterday on that dollar ride, I saw the cutest pots hanging from an apartment balcony railing. I found them on Amazon and ordered them before we even got to the next stop. They arrived before 9 this morning. I love living in the future.
I need to get to the dollar store to find something fun to go in them - pinwheels?? Plants are not an option. They are too needy.
No big plans today. I had a nice big, brunchlike breakfast so I need to clean up the kitchen and then the rest is whatever happens.
Watched: I got caught up on Guilded Age and Someone Somewhere (both HBO) yesterday. And then, to make sure I didn't get too overloaded on quality, I watched the latest Gray's Anatomy. That show was ok in the beginning but it has been barely watchable for the past few years and, yet, watch it I do. Sigh.
