The other day when I was at the grocery, they only had avocados that were still rock hard. But they were cheap so I bought two and a banana. A banana in a paper sack with avocados is supposed to encourage them to ripen more quickly. And it did its job. One was ready today and the other one will be good on about Tuesday.

I was not horribly hungry but needed something to eat and then I remembered the worker banana. And I made my comfort sandwich. White bread, mayo, peanut butter and banana. DELICIOUS.

That banana was a good investment!
