The dollar store had exactly what I wanted. They just didn't have enough. So I have two pots yet to fill but I like the garden. Hope a strong wind does not come along and abscond with it all.

After the dollar store, I went on to the pet food store. We have little little 2 state chain called Mud Bay. All of the stores used to be amazing but now the ones nearest me are not so amazing. The very first one I ever went to two decades or more ago, is over by the dollar store so I went there. It was like coming home. HUGE store. Massive selection of everything and fabulous staff.
I picked up some Thunder Ease calming spray. My house isn't suited for the things you plug into sockets that 'do' the air but I thought I'd try the spray. Fingers crossed. I don't think it will work on my leather chair but maybe on my clothes and certainly on his recliner and his heating pad cover. We'll see.
I also got him a little box of Stella and Chewy's wet food. Just to see. I gave him a little and he lapped it right up.
Oh and they take pet food donations! I did not know that. I have a bunch of stuff that Biggie won't touch.
I stopped at the teriyaki place on the way home and got lunch... and dinner. And saw that a new Mexican place is moving into the old Arby's next door. They had pictures of their menu on their windows but they aren't open yet. Wouldn't it be fun if they were good? Apparently it's a small-ish California chain with a couple of locations up here in the burbs. alibertos. wonder when they will open?
But the big news around here is that the county and the state have both announced The End Of Masks on March 11. We'll still need them for public transportation and medical places but everywhere else will be Spread That Virus Everywhere, Man!!!
Meanwhile here, I'm trying not to take an allergy pill. I've been taking certirizine to help stem my chronically runny nose. The nurse practitioner said to. BUT, damn that stuff dries me up. Which is the point. But at night, my mouth gets so dry that it wakes me up. It's painful. So I quit taking it for a while. Last night I woke up maybe once or twice very briefly and didn't even get out of bed to go pee. This is nirvana. So blow nose and sleep or... Choices.
Now my choice is to put away the stuff from shopping and go downstairs to pick up packages that were delivered. The Goodwill stuff did not get done. The box is not enough. There is stuff on the top shelf outside on the terrace that needs to go, too. But, that means ladder. I think I may just save the whole project for when my brother visits.
