I gave serious thought to canceling this dermatology appointment. This thing on my back has been there for years. It started itching a few years ago. I think I kept the appointment in hopes that the doctor would make it quit itching.

The parking at that clinic is expensive and often full and nearby parking is non existent as is handy public transport. So I decided to splurge and Lyft it. So glad I did. I got two very excellent, non-chatty, drivers with very nice cars. The driver home's was a brand new BMW. Fancy.

The dermatologist is so tiny, I think she should charge me half price. She can't weigh more than 90 pounds soaking wet. But she was very nice. She didn't think it was melanoma, but she did think it was something else (I can't remember) and she wanted to test it and then surgically remove it. I grilled that poor little thing. I mean grilled her. If I test and if it comes back as xxx, then what if I decide to do nothing. If it comes back as yyy, then what if I decide to do nothing. Etc. She held up well.

So I agreed to a biopsy. Which was stupid because honestly, I've already decided to do noting. I've had the thing for decades. If it was going to kill me, it would have already.

But, as she said at the end "I'll tell Dr. Lee that you came in like he asked and were a good patient." That works for me.

I tried some kevin's teriyaki chicken for lunch. It was not horrible but not something I need to buy again.

Why does it take four different actions to make my phone go quiet?!!! Just fixed. Found an app called Mute. One tap and it shutsthefuckup.

Next up, I've got some house chores and then I think I'll tackle that test knitting project.

Glad you were able to go and will find out soon. Hopefully so you won't think or need to think about it any longer. Kind of glad some things seem to be returning to normal now in a way, not quite but don't know if it will get bad again. Seems so long since I did some things. Glad I will be able to go to the hospital in a couple months for a colonoscopy since I am over due.

I hope the biopsy is okay and then you can just forget about it. The older I get the more I think I'll just live with what I've got and take my chances. I hate going to the doctor and I've not been for routine check ups since the pandemic started.

Oddly I had a phone problem too but mine wasn't ringing and I was missing calls.

At least with the thing removed, that’s one less thing for you to have to worry about.

I have a weird lump on my shoulder that has been there a few years and the dermatologist said it is fatty tissue.
He said he can take it off but my insurance will not cover it, they will say it is cosmetic.
They will only cover the payment if it hurts. So when I am ready for it to come off, I will tell them it hurts, weird!
I hope yours is benign.
