The bus looked like it was going to pass me so I flagged it down this morning. When I got on, the driver said "Is this stop open now?" ha. I get it. New. Change. Coming home, I got on at the driver's door and asked him specifically to stop at Jackson street. He did and a lot of people got off with me. Every day it will get better.

Oh also I wore walking shoes today. Insurance against not having to use them.

The pool had more swimmers than just me today. And all female which is different. It was a great swim. And I finally found a shower stall with a decent shower head.

In the Before Times, the gym shower was great. My home shower was not. Then I got an upgrade and now the gym shower pretty much sucks. More attitude than hardware. But I did find the one with the good nozzle. So I'll just hone in on that one.

I just read that Microsoft bought Nuance. I once left a job at Microsoft to work at a startup across the street from here. After I left there after 5 years, I worked for a company doing vendor work at Microsoft. That startup got bought by another company and then, that company got bought by Nuance. The circle of geek life.

On My Chart, from yesterday's dermatology visit

"As part of the Cares Act, your lab and pathology results will be available to you immediately. You will likely see your results prior to review by Dr. Moore. We will follow up with an explanation of the results as soon as possible. If you have results released on Friday afternoon, this may not be until the following Monday or Tuesday. This is a requirement by law and not intended to cause any distress or confusion. If you would prefer not to see your lab results prior to review by Dr. Moore, please let us know and we can prevent automatic release."

So the government says I get to know first. I think that is more than just a little amusing.

I did not get to Goodwill yet and now I need a couple of groceries. So I may do both or... I may do neither. I have nothing on the calendar for the next couple of weeks so I'm pretty much in do whatever whenever mode.

I will be working on my test knit hat. I made great progress yesterday and a half dozen false starts.

Yesterday I watched Traces (Britbox), The Resident, Ghosts (u.s.). I rarely watch movies but I see the current West Side Story is on HBO and I might well give that a go.

I remember getting that notice when I got my biopsy. I did my best to not look at the results until the doctor analyzed it.

The CARES act has been a boon to patients. But I have caught so much flack from Doctor Offices because patients phone them demanding answers and the doc hasn't reviewed. Your place seems to have done the sensible thing with that warning!

Had to create this account to reply! 😂

I have a great shower at home so I didn't expect much when they opened the new Y (and pool) but I was wrong! The water is plenty hot enough and even though I'm sure there isn't as much water volume coming out - it's enough to take a good shower. I'm so pleased.
