Breakfast win
Mar. 10th, 2022 06:41 amOk, my cheese sausage biscuit breakfast is sooooooo good. Well worth the mess I made yesterday. Happily, I made enough to take me well into next week plus some. I'm a happy breakfast camper.
I did not go to the pool this morning. I wasn't sure about my digestive issues from the new pills plus I think I've been hit by allergies. I woke up coughing and congested. It just didn't seem like a good idea to share all of that with other swimmers. I've now been up for a couple of hours. I took a cough pill and an allergy pill and everything is MUCH better. Better living through chemistry.
The other day, gmail gave me a pop up about their new interface. I refreshed and could tell no difference. Google's like that - a 'major' change is often changing a button from light gray to not as light gray. But, this morning BAM! Major new interface. And, I think I like it. I keep thinking it would be better to use a proper email client. I don't really know why. I do have my email downloaded to Thunderbird over on the PC - just as a backup. But this new look will keep me in the normal gmail web version for a nice long while, I think.
I'm so dependent on Gmail. If something were to happen to my account, I think I'd just have to end it all. I have nearly 2 decades of my life saved in there.
I was going to make breakfast burritos today but now that my sausage biscuits have worked out, I don't really need to.
I need to fill out the form for the cat behaviorist. It asks all the right questions but typing out Biggie's history is going to take some work. Good thing he's only 3!
Otherwise, nothing really planned. I was going to try another pet food store but now I've decided to hold off on any food changes until the behaviorist has been here. I have a decent supply of the food that's most difficult to get (the one I'm trying to replace). I'm hoping maybe to get good suggestions on that front, as well.
I might just sit here and knit and crochet. I have one knitting afghan that is really close to being finished and my ongoing granny square project. And lots of good TV to watch while I do it. Or I can listen to my current audiobook - The Boys by Ron and Clint Howard. It's, so far, really engaging and charming.
Maybe I'll do a load of laundry.
Biggie's enjoying some lofty bird watching.

I've had to find an alternate food for my dog. I'd been using the local store brand but shelves have been empty for a couple weeks. Initially, she enjoyed it but now she barely eats it. I'm hoping the original food will come back in stock so we can switch back.
Lovely photo of your cat!
