Biggie and I slept in today again. I woke up at 4 and 5 and 6. Each time Biggie did, too, and each time I curled up and he curled right into the bowl of my spoon and we snoozed. It was really luxurious. Then all of a sudden it was 7:15 and for reason, I thought it was imperative not to miss the bus. So I flew out of the house to the bus stop and made it fine. Getting to the pool way too soon. And they opened late (day light savings time??).

I need to teach myself that it is NOT at all necessary for me to be there when the doors open. Later is fine, too. But, no big deal. My swim was good. I shared a lane with a young guy who was all speed but had the technique/form of an octopus. He made the giant wakes. Which turned out to be kind of fun.

I wandered into Whole Foods after - again no orange juice. But, I asked this guy and he said "oh I have some in the back". Yo. WF. If you put the goods out on the shelves, I'll bet they'd sell way better. I got a half gallon and was very grateful for my new backpack style bag.

My sore throat is very nearly gone. What a weird thing that was.

The players are turning up at Spring Training today and my twitter feed is full of fun pictures of them. I'm still pissed at the lot for fucking up the beginning of the season but I'll get over it.

It's lovely out. 48 degrees. The birds are making a racket and Biggie is on high alert. The door is open (and the screen door shut).

I decided to let the doctor carve that basal cell carcinoma off my back. I sent a note this morning asking her to schedule me for some time in April. Done. But she's not allowed to look at any more spots anywhere else on my body.

No games anywhere in the neighborhood today so I think I'll try the Mexican place for lunch. I need to fire up the car anyway. It's been a week, I think, since I had it out.

I'm glad you are getting the spot removed. I know it's absolutely none of my business, but I'm still glad.

I couldn't imagine keeping the door or windows open when it's forty-eight degrees! Wow! You must either love the cold or have become acclimitised to it.

Maybe it's better that you get out to the pool earlier. I have to imagine that it's busier later on. It sounds like there's only one or two people there in the mornings.

I’m glad you decided to deal with the spot. Hopefully it won’t leave too big a hole and mess up with your swimming. Occasionally having the good stuff in the back is helpful. It’s the way I get my sour cherries every year. The store only gets a few containers in and I don’t want anyone else to see them and buy them on me.

Wow. If you put the goods out on the shelves, I'll bet they'd sell way better. No kidding! At least he did check. I get told if it's not on the shelf, we don't have it. Perhaps I should've persisted when I was in a town 1.5 hrs from me searching for my favorite Bhakti chai tea. They had 2 men stocking in the area but neither spoke English, so I figured it would've been futile to ask if any was in back despite the fact that their own website said it was in stock.
